Now, on the face of these, they seem pretty benign. We all seek at least some of these traits in the men we choose. So, where’s the problem?

Essentially it’s in his inability to meet the woman’s fundamental needs. She is the one doing all (or most) of the giving. The question then lies in; „what’s in it for her?”

The answer can be found by exploring three basic issues:

*level of self-esteem

*capacity for intimacy

*roles that she has been in throughout her life

If a woman feels good about herself, she chooses a mate who communicates both verbally and non-verbally to her that she is valued and respected. She won’t allow this other person to undermine her positive self-worth. She believes in her ability to participate in a healthy, reciprocal relationship.

If she doesn’t feel good about herself, she chooses someone who reinforces her negative self-beliefs.

If a woman is capable of true intimacy, she is open to the true availability of the other person. She wants him to be a full and active participant in the relationship. She can allow herself to be open, vulnerable and able to take as well as to receive all that true intimacy offers.

If intimacy is difficult, she choose someone who is distant, hard to connect with and not emotionally and/or physically available.

If a woman has had a healthy role in her relationships since childhood, she will choose someone with whom she can continue this healthy interaction.

If a woman has been too long in the role of rescuer, caregiver or the one who sacrifices for the good of others, this will probably be the role she will seek out in her relationships.

Fortunately, most women fall somewhere in between on these issues. So the task is to evaluate yourself in each area and decide on a course of action that will help you to choose a „nice guy”, who stirs your senses and meets your needs while being truly available for a real relationship.

Begin with an assessment of what you value most in life and cannot live without.

So its vacation time, time to let go of all worries and stresses of the „everydayness” of life. What a great time to Live-a-Little! Regardless of where you go on your vacation you obviously want to look your best ALL the time! After all, you’ll probably be taking alot of pictures and the camera DOES NOT lie! I was in this same situation this time last year.

It was right around mid February and I was taking my family to Key West and Destin Florida. The holidays just passed and you could definitely tell that I enjoyed all those left-overs waaaay tom much! I was 33lbs. heavier than my ideal weight for someone my age and height and I looked in the mirror and just got fed up. My wife was always very active and stayed in great shape and I didn’t feel like I was holding up my side of the agreement.

So there I was, I had some decisions to make and I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I knew the pleasure and peace of mind I would have that comes with a great body far exceeded the work I had to do. Ego mężczyzny jest tym czym uczucia dla kobiety. Mężczyzna może nie ma tak dobrze rozwiniętych zmysłów co kobieta, przez co nie mówi się, że mężczyzna jest równie „uczuciowy”, jednak, gdy chodzi o męskie ego – tutaj jest niezmiernie wrażliwy. Narusz jego ego, a staniesz się jego największym wrogiem, wesprzyj je, a zostaniesz jego najlepszym przyjacielem. W kwestii męskiego ego są pewne „punkty”, które są szczególnie ważne dla mężczyzny. Naruszając męskie ego w tych „punktach” skutecznie niszczysz swój przyszły, bądź obecny związek. Naruszenie męskiego ego w tych „rozdziałach” to jak krople oleju dolane do wody. Nie da się tego cofnąć! Możesz zamieszać wodą, możesz dolewać jej niezliczone ilości, ale krople oleju prędzej czy później i tak wypłyną na wierzch, i wpłyną negatywnie na Twój związek. To tak, jakby mężczyzna kochając się z kobietą powiedział jej, że byłoby dobrze, gdyby trochę schudła! Czy taki „komplement” da się zapomnieć i nigdy nie powrócić w myślach do tychże słów? Oczywiście, że się nie da i żadna kobieta ze względu na swoje uczucia tego nie potrafi, tak jak mężczyzna ze względu na swoje ego, nie potrafi tego wymazać z pamięci! To zawsze, prędzej czy później powróci! Tak samo powrócą komentarze które atakują męskie ego szczególnie w wymienionych kwestiach.



Pieniądze i zarobki



Temat pieniędzy jest jednym z najbardziej drażliwych tematów dla mężczyzny, gdy chodzi o jego ego. To pieniądze stanowią bowiem o tym czy mężczyzna jest „silnym facetem”, czy słabeuszem nie zasługującym na to, by posiadać kobietę i rodzinę z racji tego, że nie jest w stanie ich utrzymać. Atakowanie męskiego ego w kwestii pieniędzy, próba wyśmiania mężczyzny za to, że zarabia mniej od Ciebie, bądź że zarabia mniej niż ktokolwiek inny, zawsze negatywnie wpływa na zdanie mężczyzny na temat kobiety. Kobieta atakująca męskie ego w kwestii pieniędzy (możliwości utrzymania rodziny) skutecznie zmniejsza swoje szanse na udany związek.



Odwaga



Nieodzownym atutem mężczyzny – przywódcy jest odwaga. Kobieta, która narusza męski obraz w kwestii odwagi, narusza jeden z filarów jego męskości. Jeśli chcesz mu udowodnić, że jesteś od niego odważniejsza, lepiej od razu kup mu tornister, flamastry i kredki, i powiedz: „no synku teraz mamusia się tobą zajmie”, ponieważ od tej pory, to Ty w Waszym związku będziesz nosić spodnie, a mężczyzna uzna Cię za osobnika, doskonale radzącego sobie samemu i nie potrzebującego męskiego wsparcia i opieki.

Od tej pory koło w samochodzie sama sobie będziesz zmieniać, na powieszenie obrazu na ścianie będziesz czekała latami, a gdy przyjdzie czas na remont, lepiej naucz się sama kłaść płytki, bo na niego z pewnością nie będziesz mogła liczyć. W kwestiach typowo męskich, kobieta rzecz jasna, może okazywać swoje zainteresowanie, ale nigdy nie może pokazać, że zna się w tym temacie lepiej, jak mężczyzna i co gorsza, że umie to robić! Kobieta nie może mężczyzny pouczać, co najwyżej może mu sugerować coś w formie pytania np.: „Kochanie nie znam się na tym, ale może pasowałby do tego mniejszy klucz? Co ty o tym myślisz, jako fachowiec?”.



Powiedz mu jednak, że wspaniale wierci dziury w ścianach, wypowiadając to sposób temu podobny: „Kochanie, gdzie Ty się tego nauczyłeś?! Robisz to jak fachowiec!”, a tego dnia Wasze mieszkanie dosłownie zacznie przypominać szwajcarski ser – dziur starczy Ci na dwadzieścia lat!



Mądrość i inteligencja



Wiesz, jaki jest najbardziej pożądany przez mężczyznę zwrot, jaki może wypowiedzieć kobieta? „Masz rację!”. Mężczyzna chce mieć rację, a nawet, gdy jej nie ma, to… też chce ją mieć! Przebiegła kobieta nie powie do mężczyzny: „nie masz racji”, ale zwróci się do niego słowami: „Kochanie masz racje, ale… (tutaj obali to, że ma rację, tak, że on nie będzie zdawał sobie z tego sprawy)”. Mężczyzna chce być uważany za mądrego, inteligentnego, a do tego wszechstronnie uzdolnionego. Jeśli za takiego go nie uważasz – znajdzie sobie taką, która tak właśnie będzie myślała! Jak sadzisz dlaczego mężczyźni wolą blondynki? Czy naprawdę myślisz, że chodzi o kolor włosów? Czy wiesz z czym mężczyźni utożsamiają blondynki? Nie powiem Ci tego – sama musisz się tego domyślić i wyciągnąć z tego odpowiednie wnioski dla siebie. Jeśli chcesz z nim konkurować na polu mądrości, inteligencji i posiadanych talentów, to od razu daj sobie spokój z tego typu mężczyzną – nie będziesz miała u niego większych szans – no chyba, że zechcesz przyjąć się do jego paczki i co wieczór pić z nimi whisky, i paląc cygara zasiadać przy zielonym stoliku do gry w pokera. Tylko nie zdziw się, jak zaproponują Ci grę w rozbieranego pokera – może od razu ubierz się „na cebulę?!” Jeśli jesteś od mężczyzny mądrzejsza i inteligentniejsza, to dobrze Ci radzę – nie chwal się z tego powodu! Tak długo jak pragniesz, być właśnie z tym mężczyzną, niech on myśli, że jest tym mądrzejszym w Waszym związku. Nie zrozum mnie źle! Czasami wystarczy, że go porównasz do kogoś, kogo uważasz za inteligentnego, sprytnego, bardziej przedsiębiorczego, a on automatycznie przypisze sobie „brak inteligencji”. Podobnie możesz to uczynić odpowiednio modyfikując głos, tak że zadane pytanie zabrzmi jak drwiny z jego inteligencji.



Seks



Mężczyźni są niesamowicie czuli w kwestii swojej sprawności w łóżku. Wiele kobiet może zauważyć, że mężczyzna tuż po, pyta się o to czy kobieta osiągnęła satysfakcję, a gdy słyszy, słowa typu: „Nie, ale orgazm nie jest najważniejszy”, to automatycznie zaczynają się czuć mniej męsko, niż jakby usłyszeli słowa: „Tak kochanie, byłeś taki niesamowity!”.
